In the words of the Late Christopher Reeve:
Other ailments treatable with umbilical cord stem cells include; Cancer, Autism, Acute and Chronic Stroke, HIV, Aids, Hepatitis C. Lupus, Tinnitus, and age related conditions.
In 2003, I was diagnosed with Chronic Paranoid Schizophrenia, and in 2005 with related Multiple Sclerosis. I am single. A university and TAFE trained artist. I have never been married and as much as I love them, never had children. I suffered with untreated Schizophrenia for a few years, before it was finally diagnosed . During this time I thought the voice in my head was coming from a psychic, who was at first very angry with me. Sometimes humorous, and always extremely complex. From the voice I learnt a linguistic code, where words or sentences that sound similar, like when you mumble or chant words until they change. Context is all important. Some words or sentences are said to eliminate their meaning. An example is the slogan for Cystic Fibrosis, being `Sixty five roses,' but one would not say , `Cystic Fibrosis,' if that was what was meant. I believed others were condemning me with the use of this code. My mother and sister suffered much as I tried to defend myself at what I thought was their punishments and condemnations.
I believed that two of my stepfather's relatives died because of me, a chief commissioner and a detective. I falsely believed that they were in hiding pertaining to the Fitzgerald inquiries into police corruption in the 1980s. I thought they were traced and murdered horrifically, because I told an ex boyfriend my stepfather was related to them and this made them traceable, They weren't in hiding and are both alive.
Finally my sister, and a social worker contacted the mental health hospital. Medication works for me and I no longer suffer from the symptoms of Schizophrenia. The anti psychotic medication of resperidol quickly effected my metabolism. My petite size 8 figure, turned into a size 12 and even though I have changed medication, if I eat more than 1 healthy meal a day I put on the kilos. 2 to 3 meals a day and I put on a kilo each week. I know size 12 is an average size, but it doesn't suit me with my small and short bone structure. The weight goes straight to my chin and tummy. Depressing when I used to have a slight, 6 pack, flat stomach. When I have a problem I do not let it get me down for too long, I analyse it, research it, and look for a solution. So far dieticians haven't wanted to give me the medication to increase my metabolism because its not good with anti psychotics, but I'm still working on trying to get it from my GP, who may give it to me if I'm monitored. I was finally getting my life together after my diagnosis of Schizophrenia, when my legs started to stiffen, and my walking became stilted. I often fell over. I thought it was to do with the sudden weight gain, and the first doctor I went to prescribed exercise and anti inflammatories. It worsened, my legs were giving way after 10 minutes of walking or standing. I went to another GP who referred me to a neurologist. After an MRI brain scan I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It is very likely that the Schizophrenia is related to the MS Ms is a disease were the bodies own immune system attacks the myelin sheath around the nerves causing disability. I was hoping that I had the RR MS which has remitting periods, so the myelin has a chance to heal. However this is not the case, I either have PP MS, or Secondary MS. It is a slow decline into worsening disability. MS can cause lack of control over the bladder and bowels, blindness, paralysis, it can cause pain, and it can kill. So far the only effects I have are limited walking , permanent numbness in my hands, making my painting and drawing skills clumsy, I also get short periods of numbness in my arms and shoulders. After 10 minutes of walking or standing, I need to use a wheelchair. If I speculate on the further disability the future will bring, I become very anxious. However as I mentioned I analyse my situation, research it and look for a solution. This led me to learning about umbilical cord stem cell treatment.. In the words of the Late Christopher Reeve, "Stem Cells have the potential to cure diseases ranging from Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis, to Diabetes and Heart disease, Alzheimer's, Lou Gherig's disease, even spinal injuries like my own. They've been called the bodies self repair kit." Other ailments treatable with umbilical cord stem cells include; Cancer, Autism, Acute and Chronic Stroke, HIV, Aids, Hepatitis C. Lupus, Tinnitus, and age related conditions. The treatment is available by a biotechnical company called, `Advanced Cell Therapies LTD,' in 12 international locations. Australia is not one of them. Id like to get it in Mexico, or Spain. However the treatment is very expensive. It costs about, $35,000 plus air fare. .I can't afford it. If you have a problem, analyze, research and try and find a solution. I have just registered my own charity called, `The Jayne McClure Health Treatment Charity Trust Fund.' I'm going to auction my own and donated goods on EBay, and come up with some other fund raising ideas.
I'm hoping to be able to keep the charity going after I've raised the funds I need for myself, to help others who cant afford the treatment. To find out how you can help , go to my blog on
